Want to watch FREE Premier League games?

Look no further, here you will find all the information you need to get started.

 What you need:

  1. Unlimited Broadband Connection of at least 2MB (check your ISP documentation)
  2. Windows Media Player (Ver 9 or Later)
  3. Knowledge of any FireWall configured for your computer (not always necessary)
  4. SopCast downloaded and installed on your PC (FREE download from www.sopcast.org , link available from Burradon Juniors links page)

Once you have installed SopCast go to the Burradon Juniors Links page (by clicking the "Links" button on the main menu. Here you will find a link to the "Web Football Schedules", follow this link to football4less.com then simply click the required date and look through the list of available matches.

The www.Football4Less.com web site is a great starting point for any web football info, it's also worth joining their forum. They have help pages for SopCast and other streaming applications, check them out.

If the match you are looking for is listed, look for the SopCast channel which is showing the game. HINT click the link for the channel which will open a channel list and make a note of the channel number.

When you know which channel is showing the game you should launch SopCast at least 10 minutes before the game is due to start.  As SopCast is a Peer-to-Peer network it can take a while to improve your connection (automatic) to provide a good quality picture.

In SopCast click the top "Channels" tab to see a huge list of web TV channels, search the list for the channel showing your game (normally in the top Sports Channel group).  When you find the channel double click it to launch the side screen viewer. This should show "connecting to the channel" then "Buffering" with a percentage slowly increasing. Be patient, if the % increases the channel will begin playing when enough connections have been established.

Once the channel is playing click the "Launch External Player" button to open the channel in Windows Media Player, this allows you to resize the viewing screen to get the biggest screen at the best qaulity (experimentation required).

Now Enjoy!
