BURRADON JUNIORS UNDER 8'S WIN AT K.Y.P.C KILLINGWORTH
BURRADON JUNIORS UNDER 8's got their first win of the season on SATURDAY 6th OCTOBER after beating FOREST HALL BLUES 3-2 at K.Y.P.C KILLINGWORTH they had something to be proud of after losing their last four games. It was a very hard game as Burradon only had seven players with no subs to roll on roll off with. The very tired seven who performed brilliantly under the pressure of Forest Hall scored their first goal after just four minutes of the first half . After danger man CONNOR LITTLE Burradon's forward scored a great goal to put the team in front with the help from the defence & midfield then Burradon's other danger man NATHAN CLAPPERTON also a forward player put the ball in the back of the net 10 minutes after with another great goal making it 2-1 with some great team work. The second half started by forest hall pulling back another goal to make it 2-2 then the danger man CONNOR LITTLE scored Burradon's winning goal to make it 3-2 the final score CONNOR LITTLE also got man of the match for the second week in a row so WELL DONE CONNOR much of the thanks must also go to the defence BOBBY MURPHY , JAY BAINBRIDGE & SAMUEL BROWN who is Burradon's main defender he is a very head strong defender week in week out. Many thank's must also go to DION DAVIES Burradon's midfielder/Defender for breaking forest hall down every time they come through. Also the Manager must not forget Burradon's goal keeper LEON LITTLE who should have got the second man of the match who pulled off another great performance for the Under 8's just like every other week (WELL DONE LEON) infact all seven kid's deserved to get man of the match.
(FROM THE TEAM MANAGER OF BURRADON JUNIORS U 8's KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK KID'S)
Also the Burradon juniors Under8's team would like to thank FOREST HALL BLUES for a great game of football.
BURRADON JUNIORS STRIPS & TRACKSUITS
BURRADON JUNIORS AFC UNDER 8'S Manager has been informed that the kids on the under 8's team & every team at BURRADON JUNIORS AFC are not allowed to attend training sessions in their TRACKSUITS or their FOOTBALL STRIPS they are for match days ONLY MANY THANKS.
BURRADON JUNIORS AFC Managers/ coaches had their monthly meeting on SUNDAY 30th SEPTEMBER 2007. I as the under 8's Manager brought it to the attention of our club secretary & chairman that parents were not happy that their children could not wear their tracksuits for training. The secretary and chairman of the club agreed to the children being able to wear their tracksuits to & from training but the tracksuits would have to be REMOVED DURING THE TRAINING SESSION due to the fact that the kids would be training on a tarmac surface in the MUGAS. And a fall in the MUGAS during training could put a hole in their tracksuits and that the parents would have to pay for a replacement tracksuit if it was to get damaged I hope that everybody will be happy with the out come of this matter.
BURRADON JUNIORS AFC MANAGERS DETAILS
BURRADON JUNIORS AFC UNDER 8's Managers details are for the purpose of parents that need to get in touch with me regarding any matter that they might want to discuss or to let me know that their child cannot attend training or a match. My details are as follows HOME NUMBER 01912685097 or MOBILE NUMBER 07527506576. I would be very greatfull if parents could inform me as soon as possible of their childs absence from training or on a match day so I can work around their childs absence more so on a match day. As with only having a small number of children on the team sometimes it could be a matter of not having enough players to make a team MANY THANKS.
